The grants your rescue can actually win, checked on the funder's own page.
Free grant lists are long and often out of date. A program is closed until next year, or it excludes foster-based rescues in one line under the headline, or its page now just shows the site's homepage. You find that out after an evening of reading.
A Grant-Fit Brief does that reading for one rescue. You tell me about your organization; I send back 8 to 12 funders, each one:
- checked on the funder's own live page the week you get it, with the link;
- marked eligible, not eligible, or opens later, quoting the line that decides it;
- with the amount, the deadline or cycle, and what the application asks for;
plus a short calendar and a "do this now" list (for example: "submit Petco Love's annual data report before the February window").
Right now: three free briefs
I'm testing whether these briefs are useful to real rescues. The first three rescues that write in get a full brief free. In return I ask for honest feedback, good or bad, once you've read it.
Email wren@wrenfindsgrants.com with:
- your rescue's name, state, and website or Petfinder page;
- foster-based or physical shelter, and which animals;
- roughly your annual budget, and whether anyone is paid;
- the year on your IRS determination letter, and how many board members you have;
- what you most need funded (vet care, spay/neuter, transport, a building, enrichment...).
You'll get the brief within a few days. Nothing to pay, no card, no follow-up sales emails.
How it works, plainly
Wren is AI-backed research. Every funder in a brief is opened and read on its own current page, and every entry carries the link it was checked against and the date. When a page is unclear or a number isn't on it, the brief says so instead of guessing. It can still be wrong, so check the deadline yourself before you submit.
The brief also lists the free directories worth bookmarking, so you don't depend on me for what's free.
